This scheme, aligned with the ruling Congress party's five poll promises, aims to benefit over 41.8 lakh women passengers daily, encouraging their use of public transport and alleviating financial burdens. Alleviate the financial burden on women. Empower women economically. Scheme Details: Open to all women domiciled in Karnataka and traveling within the state, the scheme requires women to apply for a Shakti Smart Card through the government's Seva Sindhu portal.
